Baby J and Big Sister! [Virginia Beach Family Photographer, Hampton Roads Newborn Photography, Virginia Newborn Photographer]

Introducing Baby J, who had the cutest cheeks and was such an easy-going little guy! He also had an adorable Big Sister to watch over him. What a beautiful family!

Grandma handmade this lovely sweater for him!

I found this amazing antique doll crib in Big Sister’s playroom.

Of course *I* had to play with it! I love the vintage processing on this image!

Awesome Family! [Virginia Beach family photography, Virginia Beach child photographer, Suffolk child photography, suffolk family photographs]

These clients are very special to me. Mom is a dear friend, Dad is a dynamic & dedicated Pastor (and all-around great guy!), and I love their 4 kiddos as if they were my own! We had a blast doing their family photography session in Olde Towne Portsmouth.

The boys:

Baby brother

J, my buddy.

The cool guy!

Big sis. Isn’t she gorgeous?!

Father & daughter.

Mother & daughter.

And since they are also neighbors, I couldn’t resist dad’s idea for this shot!

Introducing Baby C: Virginia Beach Photographer, Virginia Beach Child Portraits, Virginia Beach Newborn Portraits, Virginia Beach Newborn Photographer

Because I know there is an entire VILLAGE of people waiting, here he is!

This little one has just been born into an amazing family and is loved beyond expectations. Lovely parents, amazing grandparents, and too many aunts/uncles/cousins to count. He’s a very blessed boy. Oh, and he’s also absolutely adorable.

What a great way to start your life!

Isn’t this little boy the cutest thing? I fell instantly in love!

(Sorry mom & dad, just one for now; I’ll have more later!)

Virginia Beach Family Christmas Portraits: Baby K

This precious girl is the daughter of my friend and neighbor, so I get to see her often. She is the prettiest little girl and has brought her family so much joy. She did some modeling for me and acted like a seasoned pro! Meet Miss K.

K’s mom loves strollers as much as I do so of course I had to snap a shot of their uber cool Phil & Teds!

LOVE this onesie & matching blanket! They can be found here.

Here is baby K having little snack. Mom is provided privacy thanks to the very cool Itty Bitty Baby Blanket from Tailored Tadpole. It’s an adorable lovey just the right size for on-the-go comfort and it has a loop to attach it to a stroller or carseat. As mom shows here, it is the perfect nursing cover-up and the loop allows it to attach to mom. Love that!

Look at those cheeks! Yum!

I’ve Been Tagged!

Fall is in there air and I’m loving it! It’s hard to stay inside, I have cabin fever! So, for a different kind of post– I’ve been tagged!

My friend Allie, who is a children’s portrait photographer in Milwaukee, tagged me to share 7 random things about me.  The Rules are:

1. Post the rules on your blog.
2. Write 7 random things about yourself.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post.
4. Pass on the tag.

So here we go–hopefully this is actually interesting, lolol!

1. My favorite hobby is “reading” books on my iPod; I just finished 1776.
2. I can make up a silly song about anything to entertain a fussy/sick/bored kid. Just don’t ask me to sing in front of adults, because I can’t carry a tune to save my life!
3. I actually *liked* getting up in the middle to the night to care for my newborns. Weird, I know!
4. I often dream that I’m swimming under water and can breathe the water like a fish. Can anyone psychoanalyze that for me?! ;-)
5. I became a Christian 6 years ago after the birth of my son. I was agnostic; but one look into the tiny, lovely, amazing face of my miracle baby was all the proof I required that God in indeed very real and very present in my life.
6. I really love my… Bento Laptop Lunchbox! Seriously, it’s the most exciting thing since the Holly Hobbie lunchbox I had in elementary school! Now I’m the mom & the one making the lunch, but regardless, the Laptop Lunchbox is waaaay cooler than Holly Hobbie.
7. My secret childhood ambition was to be a soap star! [*gasp* I can’t believe I’m admitting this!]

That’s it! Now to tag some other friends–Gretchen, Patti, Angela, Linde, Joyce, Sherri, and Becca. Have fun girls!

Oh–and because I don’t like to post without a picture, here is the little face I referenced in #5.
